Based in the historic Albany, New York, Indivisible Albany is committed to empowering our community, advocating for progressive change, and holding power accountable. Our mission is to build a strong, inclusive local movement that protects democracy and advances social justice.

Respect & Inclusion
Treat all members with kindness and respect, even in disagreement.
Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, xenophobia, or any form of hate speech will not be tolerated.
Personal attacks, harassment, or bullying will result in immediate removal.
Constructive Engagement
Communicate with honesty, clarity, and good faith.
Be open to learning and feedback—none of us know everything, and we all have room to grow.
Assume positive intent while also holding each other accountable.
No Misinformation or Harmful Speech
Fact-check information before sharing with the group. Misinformation, conspiracy theories, or intentional falsehoods are not helpful to community building.
No doxxing or sharing personal/private information about any individual.
No Hate Speech or Toxic Behavior
Any behavior that erodes the shared purpose of our movement will not be ignored.
If conflicts arise, they should be addressed through productive dialogue or with group leader guidance.
