Defend the Climate Law Emergency Rally
Join Indivisible Albany, Deadline Hochul and a host of other groups to demand that the State Legislature stop Governor Hochul's attack on the New York's climate law and instead accelerate the transition to renewable energy and, in so doing, lower our energy bills, create good jobs, and slash pollution.

On March 28, we will take to the streets and march shoulder-to-shoulder against ICE and the expanding police state, and to demand justice and accountability for our communities. Sponsored by the Greater Capital Region Coalition of Indivisible Groups, the next iteration of No Kings will include a street march, sidewalk protest and car caravan along one of Albany’s busiest corridors. As part of our ongoing speaker series, our March Member Meeting will feature a forum on How to Fight Fascism Through Electoral Reform and Universal Healthcare. UAlbany Professor Ashley Fox will discuss the New York Health Act and the prospect of single-payer healthcare in New York. In addition, Dorian Solot, Co-Chair of RCV Albany, will be presenting about ranked-choice voting and RCV Albany’s approach to making elections more inclusive and representative in the City, and Ian Cummins, volunteer leader at Unite NY, will address will describe Unite NY’s nonpartisan strategy for addressing political gridlock through comprehensive electoral reforms.

Bingo for the Ballot: A Fundraiser for Chloe Pierce, Candidate for AD 107
Please join Chloe Pierce for an evening of drag, bingo and democracy in support of her campaign for NYS Assembly District 107. Each ticket purchase includes entry to the bingo games hosted by Typhoid Mary and Noelle Diamond. Music for the evening is provided by DJ Tiger Tay. Speeches will be around 7:30pm followed by drag performances and then more bingo. Because who said political events can't be fun?!

Unite NY will have meetings set up where they can promote their five pillars in conversation with legislators: term limits, ranked choice voting, open primaries, ballot initiatives, and fair ballot access.
