Inside Ground Truth: How We Win in 2026 and Beyond

Trump and MAGA aren’t invincible. Together, we can stop their assault on our democracy, our neighbors, and our future. You’ve stood up this year—from protesting en masse to driving huge Democratic wins at the ballot box. The 2026 midterms are our next big chance to unseat Republicans, win back power at the federal level, and reverse the creep of authoritarian politics.

Flipping the House is step one in checking this administration's agenda and building toward a full-fledged Democratic trifecta in 2028. Join this virtual strategy session with Swing Left to hear our plan to win and how you can join the fight.

We’ll cover:

  • The Path to a Majority: The swing districts we're targeting to flip the House and break Republican control in Washington.

  • Deep Dive on "Ground Truth:" Swing Left's innovative new program that’s changing how we talk with voters, including those left out of traditional outreach. We're using a new canvassing app to start early, knock on every door, and listen deeply to understand what voters truly care about. Then, we’re analyzing and sharing valuable insights campaigns can actually use to build trust, win votes, and defeat their GOP opponents.

If you're ready to continue the smart, strategic work we need to win, this call is for you. RSVP to be part of a growing community of hope-filled action takers ready to win elections in 2026 and beyond.

Resilience For Sustainable Activism

Many of us entered movement work out of urgency and many of us are exhausted by it. The Resilience Toolkit offers an embodied, justice-aligned framework for sustaining activism over the long arc of the struggle. Rather than treating burnout, reactivity and conflict as personal failures, The Toolkit helps us understand them as predictable stress and trauma responses - and equips us with real-time regulation skills that expand our capacity to stay engaged without collapse or numbness.

Parole Justice Kickoff

We're gathering at Corcraft because this state-run business profits directly from the low-wage labor of incarcerated men and women.

People inside are working for as little as 16 cents an hour, producing goods and services that would pay $35,000–$45,000 a year in the free world.

The refusal to pass Elder Parole and Fair & Timely Parole isn't about "public safety."

It's about keeping that cheap labor alive.

We're rallying to say enough.

We demand:

✊🏾 Fair wages for incarcerated workers

✊🏾 Freedom and dignity for aging people in prison

✊🏾 Parole reform rooted in justice and humanity

Join us outside Corcraft and make your voice heard.

Together, we'll end exploitation and build a system that honors redemption over profit.

Remove Avelo Airlines from Albany International

Avelo Airlines has become the first commercial airline to contract with ICE for secretive deportation flights—flights with no guarantees of due process or legal counsel. Human beings are being chained hand to feet inside of Avelo jets, and denied adequate food, water, and movement. The conditions inside these jets are so dangerous that Avelo staff have complained to Avelo corporate about inadequate safety for the passengers aboard.

Despite calls for the Albany County Airport Authority, the Albany County Executive, and the Albany County Legislature to kick Avelo out of our community, our elected leaders have failed to take action. It is time to make our voices louder and DEMAND that Albany County leadership and officials cancel its contracts with Avelo. We will not tolerate a corporation that facilitates the kidnapping of people for profit in our community.

Black Friday Bridge Visibility Event
