No Kings 2.0

On Saturday, October 18, an estimated 20,000+ Capital Region friends, families and neighbors gathered together to protest and march over a two-and-a-half mile stretch of Western Avenue in Guilderland and Albany. Together, we celebrated our Constitutional right to peaceably assemble and to reaffirm, once again, that the United States of America does not have a King!

(Or a dictator, for that matter.)

The spirit of community and solidarity was overwhelming, and we hope that all of you that attended came away recharged and with renewed resolve to fight together and preserve our democracy and American way of life. And, as usual, the signage and costumes that the Capital Region brought to bear was incredibly creative, occasionally poignant, and frequently hilarious. Thank you to the tireless volunteers that made it all happen, and a sincere tip of the cap to all of the Albanians (and Delmartians, and Trojans, and Schenectadians, etc.) who came out in force. Good job, Mighty 518!
